• Notification were issued during November, 2022 for direct recruitment to the following post as detailed below:
• Sub-Inspector of Police – 60 posts
• Police Constable – 253 posts
• Driver(PD) Grade-III – 26 posts

Details about Post:

• Due to administrative reasons the process towards recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspector of Police has been temporarily withheld.
• The posts of Police Constable and Driver(PD) Grade-III following are the details of candidates who have applied through online for these posts
• The schedule for conduct of the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test

Name of the post:

Police Constable:

• In Puducherry Number of candidates applied online  – 14,173 and 14, 045 candidates provisionally admitted for PST/PET.
• Date of commencement of Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test = 13-03-2023
• Date from which candidates can download their admit card = 01-03-2023

Driver(PD) Grade-III:

• In Puducherry Number of candidates applied online  – 881 and 877 candidates provisionally admitted for PST/PET.
• Date of commencement of Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test = 31-03-2023
• Date from which candidates can download their admit card = 01-03-2023

Instructions:

• The candidate can login into the recruitment website DP&AR by using the login ID and password sent to their mobile number at a time of making their online applications.
• The candidates who have been rejected for some reason shall not be able to download the admit card and a message informing the reason there shall be displayed
• Police department has also constituted a Redressal committee under the chairmanship of SSP(C&I).
• Any candidate feeling aggrieved by the rejection of their candidature, may submit an application at the 1st floor, Police Training School administrative building , PAP complex, Gorimedu on or before 7th march 2023
